Asset and Property Management

This section provides information regarding asset, property and maintenance management.

Asset Management
This section provides for the administration of the RECAPP system that tracks the status of all GN assets in the territory and provides detailed information on these assets. This follows the goal of assisting capital planners in all departments plan for capital replacements to existing and future infrastructure.Maintenance Management
This section provides for the administration of all maintenance performed on GN facilities in Iqaluit and provides support and information to the regional offices in regard to the Maintenance Management Operating System, Community Maintenance Agreements, maintenance standards and other related issues. Property Management

This section provides for the administration of all GN leased properties. CGS is the only department of government mandated to lease property.
