Services to Government Departments

Community and Government Services provide a range of services and support to other government departments and agencies, including Informatics Services, Records Management, Property and Facilities Management, Utilities Management, Project Managment, Contracting and Procurement.

Architecture & Engineering
Project Management & Technical Services helps the government in the construction of buildings from blue print designs through to the complete delivery a project.Asset and Property Management

Every year, the Government of Nunavut’s 518 buildings consume more than $14 million in water, electricity and fuel oil. Due to our reliance on imported oil to heat our buildings and generate our electricity, we know that this figure will continue to rise substantially, despite the government subsidy.

Informatics Planning and Services branch provides 'whole-of-government' Information Management and Information Technology services for all GN departments and programs.Purchasing Service

The Procurement, Logistcs and Contract Support division of CGS is the central contract authority for the Government of Nunavut. The provide expertise in all purchasing and logistical matters, including preperation of tenders, Request for Proposals and contracts.
